TEAM PROJECT
For the team project we had to develop from scratch a game across multiple platforms (PC, PS3 and Android). The content varied between the PC and PS3 builds of your game to suit the hardware capabilities, but the central game engine was shared across both PC and PS3 platform. The Android device acted as a “second-screen” which interacts with the PC version of the game.
The game was a multiplayer racing game on a data driven track. It runs in multiplayer mode across multiple online PCs, and in split-screen on PS3. The vehicles were normal racing cars, and handled with believable physics, acceleration, braking, steering and surface friction.
